What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is the FDA-approved, noninvasive process used to target and eliminate fat cells without going under the knife. The procedure targets fat cells, using a cooling process developed by renowned Harvard scientists. Our Kansas City patients have zero downtime with dramatic results.

 How Coolsculpting Works

The CoolSculpting procedure works by freezing the fat cells without damaging the skin or other cells using cryolipolysis. Fat cells are targeted, become crystallized, then break apart and die. As the fat cells are broken down and eliminated, they are naturally expelled by the body. as shown in the graph below.

Cryolipolysis is a process that causes the gradual death of fat cells. Patients typically see results begin to settle within 3 weeks of their first treatment, with more dramatic results appearing after two months. Fat cells continue to die and be absorbed and eliminated by the body even six months later, resulting in continued improvements and an overall sculpted body.
